As I said, post your edit there is *still* " a sharp turn in a highway".
It brings no benefits to the OSM database.
Please refrain from making these types of edits.

Split these splays is pointless. It *doesn't* "Eliminated a sharp turn in a highway".
It makes no difference to routing software.
