Cześć. Widzę, że jesteś z Polski, to odpiszę po polsku.
Zbyt często (widzę takie zjawisko u siebie na Litwie lub np. w Estonii; jak i wcześniej na Białorusi) klasyfikacja dróg na OSM odpowiada teorii (czyli klasyfikacji administracyjnej) zamiast faktycznej funkcji. Dochodzi wówczas do takich sytuacji, kiedy obwodnica danego miasta lub wioski ma niższą klasyfikację, niż droga przejeżdżająca przez samo centrum.
W tej chwili, zamknięte przejścia graniczne PL/BY jak i BY/UA czy UA/RUS (i niektóre BY/LT) nie pełnią żadnej funkcji oprócz drogi wewnętrznej dla pograniczników lub wojskowych. Wobec tego, nie ma sensu, w obecnych okolicznościach, utrzymać klasyfikację "wyższą" (trunk, primary, secondary) bowiem już od wielu miesięcy sytuacja się nie zmienia i nie zapowiada się, żeby to się szybko zmieniło.
Jeśli ruch będzie wznowiony, to wtedy należy faktycznie przywrócić dawne oznaczenie. Obecnie na poważnie myślę o tym, żeby obszar tych przejść granicznych oznaczyć jako landuse=military, zgodnie z tym co widziałem w wielu takich miejscach. Bo nikt oprócz wojskowych czy pograniczników nie może obecnie tam legalnie przebywać.

Actually, in Belarus, they also use 2 languages: Russian and Belarusian. Nevertheless, as the vast majority of roadsigns are in Belarusian, they recently switched all toponyms and road names to Belarusian (which is more logical from a frequent traveler point of view).
int_name in English? I'm afraid it would make no sense: we already have the name:en tag for that. For example, when you use OSM-based maps (like maps.me), names that will appear by default are name=* and int_name=* if the name:en tag isn't filled.

So you have a passion for mountains? :D One of my Polish friends is such a passionate that he visited neighboring Kyrgyzstan a few months ago :D

P.S.: What do you mean the OSM community doesn't accept those changes?

O.K. I'm happy to see native people at last reacting to my editions, because it is quite tiresome to do so and find all necessary sources in Kazakh. Sometimes, I find only one source stating the Kazakh name.
As soon as I find it, I always add Wikidata and Wikipedia so there is no doubt. Sometimes I find Russian names with Kazakh prefixes.

Anyway, it would be ideal to do like in Belarus: the Kazakh name in name=* and name:kk=*, the Russian name in name:ru=* (of course, sometimes it can be identical to the Kazakh name, especially in Northern Kazakhstan) and the Kazakh Latin name in int_name.
Nevertheless, regarding int_name, when I talk to my Kazakh acquaintances, they seem to be a bit lost on which is the current version of the Kazakh Latin alphabet. When I ask if У becomes W or U, does Ы become I or Y, they seem to be a bit lost and contradict themselves (just as with those names in the mountains!). However, it is still better to do it (and not to leave it "as is" with bad Russian transliterations or English names that should be in name:en=*), so the map gets readable for tourists not reading Kazakh Cyrillic (especially given the last news I read regarding a full transition to Latin up to 2030). Of course, such small details can be changed when the Latin alphabet issue gets sorted out.

I also see other issues on Kazakh OSM:
1) New roads not drawn at all and streets not drawn in villages or towns (better to draw a dirt road than not drawing anything!)
2) River paths not matching the satellite images
3) Lots of old names that have been kept despite having been changed in the 90s (I always do the appropriate changes and put the appropriate notes when I see those)
4) Street or village names only appearing in Russian while they are in Kazakh on the spot. Same goes for addr:city, addr:street and so on. Even Russian Yandex maps and US Google Maps don't do this anymore!

Residential would be inaccurate. If I recall well, there is one shop over there (I would have to drive through again to re-check, but it won't happen until the beginning of March).

AFAIK, military areas are used only if no one from outside can get in. Here, you have Lithuanian and Polish customs officers but they are not even stopping everyone. Usually, they stop some trucks.

There are several countries with various official languages. They usually choose one language on OSM. Look at India (they chose English), at Belarus (they recently switched from Russian to Belarusian), etc.

1) I am not trying to wipe out Russian and I did not delete any Russian description nor name. Please refrain from accusing me of stuff I never said nor did. I put Russian names in name:ru, where they belong out of the territory of the Russian Federation. I do not delete them and what I'm doing does NOT wipe out Russian. It just makes the map more readable for various language users.
2) All that long text was in the "name" tag. As you wrote on your own, it is not a name, it is a description. Moreover, a name=* tag in Russian on the territory of China is absurd, don't you think?
3) I do investigate before putting names. Btw, thanks to that, I discover sometimes that some names have changed since the last time someone edited this or that part of the map.
4) In the case of the descriptions we are talking about, automatized translations are still much better than nothing at all. Someone who speaks this or that language better will be able to correct it. Anyway, in the vast majority of cases, I usually use translators only for transliterations into Latin alphabet (which I put in int_name).
5) If the nodes are at national borders, I always put the languages of all the countries it touches.
6) If the nodes are close to national borders, I also try to put all languages, but with the language(s) of the country in question in name:* and the other names in name:xx=*
