Диван видео — то је веома корисно за мапирање. Хвала.

Wow! That’s great. This aerial video has a lot of views which are useful for mapping.

Данас сам био тамо — нисам видео да се тамо гради пут или да се праве шине.

I have been there today and didn’t catch any road or rail construction at Jurija Gagarina continuation — I saw only some works western to Eurasia trade center but I’m not sure that they build tram terminal.

It’s uncommon practice. For example, in Georgia and Russia name:* tags are allowed and their deleting treated as vandalism.

Serbian and Russian languages are close to each other but they are different. For example, Russian alphabet doesn’t have letters Ј, Љ, Њ, Ђ, Ћ and Џ. So TTS engine cannot pronounce Serbian names if they contain these letters and TTS uses Russian language. I have met these situation with OsmAnd yesterday — it uses default (Google?) TTS and lost significant part of names like Ђурђа.

Hi,
I don’t touch Serbian names but in Russian part of OSM common practice is to include status part (улица, проспект etc) to Russian names. Is there different practice? I haven’t seen it yet. If it exists, could you please share the link to local rules?

1. Plates „on the ground“ can have abbreviations (English St./Str., Russian/Serbian ул., Serbian/Polish ul., Turkish sk. or cd. and so on) but their using contradicts to OSM recommendations not to abbreviate. Moreover, address plates and road signs can contain errors — I saw them IRL.

2. Map renderer/navigator can abbreviate — it’s not a task for mappers.

3. It seems, that it’s hard to match your local traditions with common OSM recommendations due your legacy. Well, the discussion ended. I see no sense to continue it. Have a nice day.

Tomas Straupis, your sentence is a lie.

See osm.wiki/Names and osm.wiki/Abbreviations — rule is

> If the name can be spelled without an abbreviation, then don't abbreviate it.

So g. is abbreviation of gatvė (street) and it shoud be changed to full name.

Ar ne?

Hi,
It’s maximal height of fall (Максимална висина пада in Serbian).
