There is a large hill on Fairmont at 55th. pedaling to climb that hill is difficult especially north bound with the apex of the hill at the intersection. From the south, Dearborn, through the park, over the bridge and out through the parking lot is a much easier route to pedal. Also the traffic patterns on 55th street make it easier to cross 55th from the ping lot to Benton Avenue. There is a paved path from the south east corner of the parking lot to the lake. |
