| 177423163 | Btw: I just had a quick glance at some of your updates and it looks like it would be a good idea if you were to have a thorough reading of everything concerning access=* because those tags describe legal restraints and do not convey if something is usable by some mode of transport |
|
| 177423163 | Hi :) if nothing else happened than you don't need to worry. A couple hundred mappers across Europe are now slightly annoyed at the large bbox but that's all. Safe travels, happy mapping and if there are any questions regarding anything OSM just come round the forum at c.osm.org or one of the chat groups |

| 177327429 | Hi again, since you like to work with water and landuse it would be very nice of you to learn about osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon

| 177316939 | Hello again Please DO NOT delete objects you intend to change. The building just needed refinement. The service way only needed a bit of adjustment. Remeber osm.wiki/Keep_the_history and please do not connect highways and landuse like you did here. Highways should only connect to barriers and other highways. Placing the barrier on the landuse isn't helpful at all.

| 177294139 | Hi :) I don't think this worked as intended. Please read place=island carefully and try again. If neccessary, please reach out for help. Theres always people at c.osm.org or in chat groups like those on Signal cheers

Also wirklich die exakte Kombination an Verkehrszeichen.

| 177141939 | Hello George and Aethonatic, thank you for the thorough explanation. I did read it all, indeed. - It is kinda exciting to know that our data is used this way. The reasons may be many and I will not speculate at this point. - We have guidelines set down in our wiki on how certain features are to be "mapped". We can not allow for every commercial data consumer to deviate from these guidelines just so their use case works. It doesn't work that way around. - Still, OSM is a collection of many views and if these objects are clearly named that way in your facility, that's fine. One could argue, that if they aren't signposted, loc_name=* would be better for many. - taking the Circular Platform as example: I do not believe highway=services is a good choice here. - if an object is not there (anymore) you are certainly free to delete it from the database. To take the Platform again: There werde OSM-Objects in that place which you (or your colleague) have removed and put your own objects there. This is not the way. If something isn't well drawn or placed you are free to modify it so it better fits reality on the ground. Sorry to cut short here. Tight schedule. Maybe it isn't too bad an idea for you to move to c.osm.org to discuss your intentions. cheers |

| 177141939 | Hi there :) I don't quite understand what you're trying to map here. Have you had a look at wiki.osm.org before adding things like "Circular Platform" or "Nitrogen Station"? it seems like you're misusing name=* as description and you deleted perfectly fine OSM objects to replace them with your versions which is against "Keep the History". I suggest you swing by the forum to get some input on what you're trying to do at c.osm.org cheers |

Check mal osm.wiki/DE:Good_changeset_comments cheers
