If aerial imagery is close to current, it suggests cycle routing is more complex here (V-shape), and perhaps connects to complex cycle lane layout at end of Winter Street. That layout suggests a central lane for cycles going South (matching the left/West part of V) and a right-side lane for cycles going North (matching right/East part of the V).

Are the pedestrian crossings traffic-controlled? Aerial does not indicate whether there are separate cycle signals?
