Hello. Thanks for mapping.

To measure the width of a road in ID editor

First draw a line between the shoulders of a track .
Then You can press [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[M] to turn on the measurement panel and read the result.
In JOSM you can draw a round building between the shoulders of a trace and read the distance on the lower line.
Tracks don't connect settlement and are no through-going roads.
Best regards

Hello. Thanks for mapping.
You mapped a through-going road as a track. Check the route of a trace before you decide how to tag it.
This should be tagged as an unclassified highway. I changed it.
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello. Thanks for mapping.
A remark. The track mapped with the tag "path" is by default unpaved. No need to add that tag additionally.

Hello again
Please connect paths to each other when they are supposed to be connected. You often stop within a meter of a path close to another one. Be more accurate, please.
When you map a path, you regulary makes a sharp turn to return through another route. The system recognise this as a "sharp turn" and needs attention.
Instead of that, when a path continues in the same direction as your first mapping, proceed with that road and add another one later on.

When several traces, close to eachother, go to a settlement or other road, try to limit the mappings to just a few ones.
There is no need to map every single trace. Settlements or dwellings, within view from an ajacent path don't need to be mapped. (Just the through going path_

We welcome you as a new mapper.
Thanks for your contribution to this project.
your changesets are reviewed by a Global Validator to check that the tasks have been mapped in accordance with the quality standards of HOTOSM.

Why did you consequently map and tag highways as unclassified highways, despite they are often that narrow that you only can call them a path?
You do this on many tasks.
Please follow the tagging mentioned in this wiki

Mostly, the tracks are not more than a path.

I forgot to mention that you first need to draw a line over the shoulders of the track of which you want to measure the width.

Hi. Another remark.
There’s no need to map every short section of trail that branches off from another trail and leads to a few huts, especially if those huts are visible from the other trail.

Hello. Thanks for mapping.
When you want to add a "ford" to a water/highway crossing, don't add it to the waterway itself, but add a node to the crossing and tag that as 'ford"

Hello. Thanks for mapping.
Please solve the issues / warnings shown by the issue triangle before you upload your mappings.
About the tagging of highways, traces as narrow as <2 mtr are not an unclassified highway. Use the tag: path.

To measure width in the iD editor, you can use the measurement panel by pressing [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[M] to turn it on, which allows you to see measurements as you draw. This feature helps you get a rough idea of the width of the features you are mapping.

Hi. Forgot to mention.
You also often connect nodes of a building to a path close to it. These are also issues that need to be corrected.
Best regards

Hello. Thanks for mapping on this project.
You tagged often paths in tasks as highway=unclassified.
Check this wiki where you can use this tag.
osm.wiki/Highway_Tag_Africa
A major requirement is the width of a road.
Here, just a few throughgoing roads fulfill the classification of highway-unclassified. Most are just paths. Connecting buildings and buildings to roads.
I change most of them
You also often forgot to connect crossing highways to eachother.
Please pay more attention to that issue.
Best regards, and keep mapping

Hello. Thanks for mapping.
Please run your validating tool to find issues and solve them before you call a task completely mapped.
Issues from previous mappers might be solved as well. Look also for yards mapped as building.
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello. Thanks for mapping.
Despite this task being mapped 4 months ago, I want to react to your mappings.
Often you map a yard as a building.
And clustered buildings,
Walled objects, without a roof are not to be mapped as a building.
Best regards

Hello. Thanks for mapping.
A remark. Since you are a beginner mapper, I advise to get experience in easier to map projects. This is rather dense build with not the best imagery to map from.
